SANAA, Jun. 10 (YPA) – The head of the Libyan House of Representatives stationed in Tobruk, Agila Saleh, denied the reports about sending a personal envoy to Ankara, saying, “We do not receive orders from Turkey.”
Saleh said, according to a statement published on the official website of the Libyan Parliament, on Saturday evening, commenting on recent statements by some Turkish officials on this issue: “We do not beg or receive orders from Turkey or others.”
Saleh added: “We are working for the security and stability of Libya, and we have nothing to hide, and the people participate and follow our steps firsthand, and the interest of the Libyan people is above all else, and the security and stability of Libya is our goal that we will not deviate from.”
He concluded his statement by saying, “We will not hesitate to communicate with the countries active in the Libyan crisis file to achieve security and stability in Libya, but not at the expense of the interest of the Libyans and without prejudice to national sovereignty.”
