MARIB, Jan. 09 (YPA) – A guard of security forces, affiliated with Islah Party, was killed at a gas facility in Marib province, northeastern Yemen.
Sources said that a tribal gunman from Jawf province, after he was prevented from entering the gate of the gas facility, took out a Kalashnikov weapon and fired at the guard and the gas tanks, killing the guard “Abdulsalam al-Hashi”.
The guard prevented the gunman from entering, noting that the gunman had come to review some of his work, and the guard asked him to return on Saturday morning, but he refused, and he returned to shoot, the sources explained.
Marib province is witnessing a state of terror, fear, widespread chaos, in light of the spread of robbery gangs and assassinations, and under the control of the Islah militias loyal to the Saudi-led coalition.
