SHABWA, Aug. 25 (YPA) – At least six people have died after flash floods hit Yemen’s Shabwa Governorate, causing widespread destruction across several districts.
The floods, triggered by heavy rains, ravaged the areas of Bayhan, Usaylan , and Al-Talh, washing away vehicles, damaging electricity infrastructure, and inundating agricultural land.
Local residents accused the government loyal to the Saudi-led coalition of failing to act, amid the absence of emergency response plans to address the ongoing disaster ravaging the region.
