Army achieves military advance in Marib

MARIB, Jan. 9 (YPA) – The Yemeni army forces achieved on Saturday the military advance in the battles taking place on the outskirts of the city of Marib, according to informed sources.

The sources said that the army fought fierce battles against the Saudi-led coalition forces in the northwest of the city of Marib during the past hours, which led to imposing tightened siege on the coalition forces inside the city.

Additionally, the army forces advanced towards the coalition forces’ sites in the areas of Obaida tribe, and managed to secure the area of Abar Matarih Nakhla towards the city.
