Newborn girl found dumped near garbage in Aden

ADEN, Jan. 4 (YPA) – A security patrol in led by Major Musleh al-Dharhani, found a newborn girl dumped near a garbage in  Al-Basateen neighborhood Dar Saad district in the southern port city of Aden, Tahdeeth Net reported on Monday

The head of the Al-Basateen police, Major Musleh al-Dharhani, said police search teams were investigating who had thrown the baby girl next to the garbage in a neighborhood.

Al-Dharhani said the police had transferred the baby to a nurse because of her need  for breastfeeding. He indicated that the child has been for a while without food.

The city of Aden has been experiencing widespread insecurity, assassinations and ongoing violations against citizens.
