Marib tribes carry out looting of coalition weapons

MAIRB, Dec. 29 (YPA) – The weapons depots of Saudi-led coalition forces on the outskirts of Marib city witnessed at dawn Tuesday widespread looting of weapons by ‘Al-Jadaan’ tribes, local sources reported.

Al-Jadaan tribesmen ambushed the coalition recruits while they were fleeing the battles on the outskirts of Madghal front northwest of Marib city, the sources told Yemeni Press Agency.

The tribesmen were able to loot huge military equipment belonging to the coalition forces, including military vehicles, artillery and machine guns, the sources added.
