Coalition’s troops release oil ship after being detained for 260 days

SANAA, Dec. 29 (YPA) – The US-backed Saudi-led aggression coalition’s forces released on Tuesday an oil ship loaded with 14,299 tons of petrol after being arbitrarily detained for 260 days.

The spokesman of the Yemeni Oil Company, Essam al-Mutawakil declared that the total fines for delaying the seizure of the vessel “Miura” amounted to (3,900,000) dollars, confirming that the ship arrived to Hodeidah port and laboratory examination procedures are being completed to ensure that the materials meet the approved specifications, so that the unloading process can then begin.

He also confirmed that coalition’s troops still detain nine oil derivative ships despite its inspection and obtaining permits from the United Nations.
