4 killed in Nevada shooting

SANAA, Nov.4 (YPA) – Four people were killed in a shooting in Nevada, US media reported, as the presidential election rally intensified.

The incident occurred in Henderson, near Las Vegas, at 11 a.m. local time, where police received a 911 911 emergency report.

The local police chief confirmed that four people were killed, including the suspect of  shooting, who was killed by police fire and a fifth person was injured. The wounded was taken to hospital.

Police at the scene found gunshot wounds and an armed man suspected of shooting them.

The police tried to communicate with the gunman, but were unable to persuade him to lay down the weapon and there was an exchange of gunfire.

The incident comes at a time when the United States of America is witnessing a heated presidential election conflict between incumbent Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump and Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden.

In recent years, various cities and states have witnessed a significant increase in the frequency of shootings and incidents, highlighting the prevalence of violence in American society, particularly after Donald Trump’s arrival in the White House in early 2017.
