SANAA, Nov. 4 (YPA) – New York Police Commissioner Dermot Francis Shea warned of possible riots in the city after the closure of the electoral commissions and the arrival of preliminary results.
“There are many policemen on the street,” Shea said, adding that he “understands the attitude of shopkeepers who decided to secure their doors and facades to avoid the looting that New York suffered at the end of early June.”
“There is a group of people who may protest just because the sky is blue. I don’t think they’re even interested in who wins the elections.”
