Several Palestinian civilians killed in Israeli strikes across Gaza

GAZA, Aug. 20 (YPA) – Several civilians, including women and children, were killed and others injured since dawn today, Wednesday, as Israeli warplanes carried out airstrikes across various areas of the Gaza Strip, the Palestinian official news agency WAFA reported, citing medical sources.

According to the sources, five members of the Daour family, including the mother, father, and three children aged four, seven, and nine, were killed when Israeli forces bombed a tent sheltering displaced persons in Al-Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City.

Two more civilians were killed and several others injured when Israeli forces targeted the home of the Al-Masri family near Al-Samer junction, close to the Chamber of Commerce in Gaza City. Five others were recovered from under the rubble.

In Khan Yunis in southern Gaza, three civilians, including a mother and her two children aged three months and 10 years old, were killed in an Israeli airstrike that struck a residential house.

In central Gaza, one civilian was killed and others were injured after Israeli forces bombed a home in Al-Nuseirat refugee camp.
