Army advances towards northeast Marib

MARIB, Oct. 11 (YPA) – The Yemeni army and popular committees achieved on Sunday a military advance in battles of Marib province, sources told Yemen Press Agency.

The army forces are fighting fierce battles against coalition’s troops, Islah party’s militias and al-Qaeda militants in northeast of Marib city.

The sources declared that the army’s forces were able to liberate several sites in al-Alam and al-Nodhod areas.
