WEST BANK, July 12 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces carried out a large-scale raid and arrest campaign across various parts of the occupied West Bank early Saturday morning.
In Hebron, Israeli occupation soldiers stormed the town of Halhul, north of the city, and raided the home of Mahmoud Abed, a Palestinian killed after allegedly taking part in the Etzion operation.
The raid came a day after the occupation forces had taken measurements of the house, a common precursor to punitive demolition.
They also stormed the homes of Abed’s relatives and other local residents in Halhul, subjecting several to on-site interrogations.
In the nearby town of Sa’ir, northeast of Hebron, the occupation forces arrested Mohammed Nabil Younes Al-Tarwah during a separate raid.
Meanwhile, in Deir Samet, west of Hebron, the occupation forces seized a vehicle and ransacked several homes during a pre-dawn incursion.
In Jenin, the occupation forces arrested two young men from the city’s eastern neighborhood.
They also stormed the Al-Saadi family guesthouse, conducting searches and questioning residents.
