STC’s militia forces suffer heavy losses in Dhalea fronts

DHALEA, Sep. 27 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s military forces were subjected on Sunday to a major massacre in the battles that took place in northwestern areas of Dhalea province, local sources reported.

The sources explained that the army forces and popular committees fought fierce battles against the STC’s forces, during which they managed to counter a large advance of the STC forces, which launched a failed attack on the positions of the army and popular committees on the fronts north of Al-Fakher and west of Qataba district.

The STC’s forces suffered heavy losses in lives and gear during the confrontations, the sources added.

The STC had sent large military reinforcements to its forces two days ago, with the aim of launching the attack on the positions of the Sanaa forces on the fronts north of Al-Fakher.
