Saudi authorities arrest eight members of Al-Hwaiti’s family

SANAA, April 22 (YPA) – The Saudi authorities arrested on Wednesday eight members of tribal leader’s family, Abdul Rahim Al-Hwaiti from his home in the Saudi Arabia, according to Middle East Monitor Website.

The move came just days after the killing of their leader, which led to widespread dissatisfaction by hundreds of social media users who accused Saudi Arabia of violating freedoms and rights against the citizens.

The tribal leader Abdul Rahim Al-Hwaiti was shot dead by the Saudi security forces for refusing to give up his home to make way for the kingdom’s NEOM mega-city project.
