Haftar’s forces: We are fighting war againstTurkish army

SANAA, April 16 (YPA) – The spokesman for the forces of Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, “Libyan National Army,” Ahmed Al-Mismari, said that his forces are fighting a war against the Turkish regime’s army, with all its land, sea, air, and electronic strength.
Al-Mismari added in a press conference, on Wednesday evening, that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan recruited mercenaries “terrorists” with money and transported them to Libya.

He emphasized that among these takfiris, members of al-Qaeda and ISIS groups had attacked Sabratha area, kidnapped entire families and took them to the city of Zawiya by force of arms.

Al-Mismari explained that mercenaries and takfiris in Libya are subject to great losses, pointing out that “the intelligence of the Turkish regime is ready to publish any fake news with the aim of distracting attention from their heavy losses.”

Al-Mismari confirmed last month that Turkey had transferred approximately 7,500 takfiris to Libyan territory, while press reports earlier confirmed that Erdogan had sent large quantities of ammunition and weapons in ships over the past years, as well as drones, to support its allies in Libya.
