Protesters in solidarity with Palestine attack Jewish activists with red paint in Germany

SANAA, Aug. 23 (YPA) – Jewish activists were attacked, on Saturday evening, by supporters of Palestine in the German city of Frankfurt while they were hanging banners bearing pictures of Israeli detainees in Gaza.

Jewish activist Sascha Stepsky, one of those attacked, said that a group of people pushed them and insulted them, before one of them suddenly sprayed them with red paint, causing him facial injuries and staining his glasses, clothes, and mouth.

He noted that two other activists were also injured by the paint.

Stepsky added that he tried to talk to the attackers and offered to observe a minute of silence for all victims of the war and to emphasize his desire for peace, but they continued the verbal and physical assault, confirming that the activists filed complaints to the local police.
