STC militias arrest leader in Islah party in Abyan

ABYAN, Feb. 15 (YPA) – The Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militiamen arrested on Saturday a leader in Islah party in Abyan province, sources told Yemen Press Agency.

The leader Abdu al-Aziz Mahrus was captured in coasts of Shaqra district.

The STC militias carried out a campaign to arrest all those who loyal to Islah party.

Shaqra district witnessed on Friday violent clashes among Islah militias and STC militiamen.
