Transitional council’s followers demonstrate against Saudi Arabia in Aden
ADEN, Feb. 15 (YPA) – Dozens of followers of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council demonstrated on Saturday in front of the Saudi-led coalition forces’ headquarters in Aden province, southern Yemen.
The demonstrators chanted slogans against Saudi Arabia, accusing it of supporting terrorism.
Activists on social media posted video clips of chants of the demonstrators, who raised the separatist flags alongside the UAE flags.
Sultan al-Tayyar, a former Saudi diplomat, commented on the insults of the transitional council’s supporters to his country in front of the military coalition headquarters in Aden, saying in a tweet “this is what we were warning about, and some said that we are exaggerating.”
“These are some of the ally’s fruits we expected to see, and the days are still hiding more,” al-Tayyar added, referring to the UAE.
He pointed out that the UAE has “explicitly recognized the production of 200,000 militiamen outside the framework of legality (Hadi’s government), and all of them are from this sample,” as he said.
