Israeli forces arrest Palestinians in West Bank, clashes break out in Isawiya

SANAA, Dec. 22 (YPA) – On Sunday, the Israeli occupation forces launched ridas in various areas of the West Bank, including the arrest of a number of youths, while clashes broke out between youths and members of the Israeli occupation police who stormed the town of Isawiya late at night, Palatinians media Reported.

In occupied al-Quds, clashes broke out between dozens of youths and members of the Israeli occupation forces late at night in the town of Isawiya.

Mohammed Abu al-Homs, a member of the follow-up committee in Isawiya, said that clashes broke out between youths and the occupying forces, which spread heavily in the streets of the town.

A barrage of sound bombs and rubber-coated metal bullets were fired at residential buildings indiscriminately.

The Israeli occupation forces stormed Isawiya from its eastern entrance and deployed around the Al-Arbaeen mosque in the town, and the neighborhood of martyr Mohammed Kaid Mahmoud, before the outbreak of clashes.

The occupying forces arrested a young man from al-Quds for allegedly vandalizing nine cars in the “Givat Ze’ev” settlement.

In Hebron governorate, Israeli occupation forces arrested two citizens during raids carried out in various parts of the governorate.

The Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Beit Amr and arrested the freed prisoner Suleiman Joudat Bahr and citizen Mohsen Mohammed Zaaiq.

In Bethlehem, the occupying forces handed over the freed prisoner Mahmoud Hassan al-Wardian to their intelligence services in the Gush Assioun settlement compound, after breaking into his house and searching it.

The Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Beit Sahour, the towns of Hamla and Rakhma, east of Bethlehem, and Jabal al-Moalh, but no arrests were reported.
