Saudi Arabia, UAE distribute meats of donkeys, dogs in Hadramout

HADRAMOUT, April 23 (YPA) – Institutions of the UAE and Salman Center for Humanitarian Relief distributed kinds of meats imported from doubtful countries to citizens in Hadramout province, Yemeni medics told Yemen Press Agency on Monday.

More than 40% of food and meats are distributed without being subject to quality standards, which may be unfit for human consumption, the Yemeni medics spoke to Yemen Press Agency’s reporter on the condition of anonymity.

Saudi authorities discovered in last March large amounts of frozen meats of donkeys and dogs, which were consumed by Saudi restaurants in various cities, according to Saudi media.
