Yemeni Political Council announces 3 days of mourning for President

SANAA, April 23 (YPA) – The Supreme Political Council of Yemen announced on Monday the national mourning for three days for the martyrdom of President Saleh Al-Sammad.

President Al-Sammad was killed on Thursday by an airstrike of US-backed Saudi-led coalition, while he was performing his Jihadi mission in Hodaida province, a statement issued by the council said.

The statement called on the Yemeni people to attend the martyr’s funeral at the time and the place that would be determined by the organizing committee.
