European unions demand halt to flights to “Israel” in protest against genocide in Gaza

OCCUPIED QUDS, Aug. 11 (YPA) – The Israeli newspaper “Yedioth Ahronoth” has revealed that ground handling employees at the Belgian airline “Brussels Airlines” have demanded a halt to all flights to “Israel” until the “genocide” being perpetrated against civilians in the Gaza Strip stops.

In a related development, the French handling company “Alizea” announced a comprehensive boycott of the Israeli airline “El Al,” along with all Israeli airlines, in an unprecedented protest.

French labor unions called for Alizea employees to be empowered to refuse to handle baggage and cargo associated with flights to and from the occupied territories, warning of escalatory measures if employees are forced to handle these flights.

These actions come amid growing popular and labor anger in Europe over the ongoing Israeli aggression in the Gaza Strip, amid growing demands to halt logistical and economic support for the occupation.
