Rabies kills 55 citizens in 2019

SANAA, Sept. 28 (YPA) – 55 citizens including children have been died and 12,000 others inflicted due to rabies caused by dog bites since the beginning of 2019, according to a National Rabies Management Program report.

The participants stressed the importance of putting means and plans to reduce the spread of this disease and provide vaccines required for prevention and treatment.

The move came during a celebration on the occasion of the World Rabies Day.
