Civilian killed by shell in Abyan

ABYAN, Sept. 21 (YPA) – At least one person was killed and three others were injured when a shell exploded in al-Mahfed district, northeast of Abyan province.
Local sources said, the shell exploded by one of the citizens in a car repair shop, after it fell from his hand and exploded.
The sources added that the shrapnel of the blast wounded three citizens who were present in the shop, while the citizen Salah Nasser Mohammed died.
The sources pointed out that the injuries of the three citizens necessitated their transfer to Aden, for treatment because of the seriousness of their injuries.
