8 civilians killed, injured in bomb explosion in Afghanistan
SANAA, Sept. 21 (YPA) – Eight civilians were killed and wounded in an explosion in the southern province of Kandahar in Afghanistan, police chief General Taden Khan said on Saturday.
According to the news agency “Khama Press” Afghan police chief said that the explosion wounded six civilians and led to the deaths of two others, and no one has adopted the operation.
Interior Ministry spokesman Nusrat Rahimi said the blast targeted a civilian car in the Spin Boldak area where civilians were traveling.
On Friday, the Afghan authorities announced that about 40 people were killed and others injured by a car bomb in front of a hospital in the city of Qalat, the center of Zabul province in southern Afghanistan.
