Shura Council discusses difficulties facing educational process

SANAA, Sept. 18 (YPA) – The Shura Council discussed in its Wednesday meeting, chaired by Speaker Mohammed al-Aidarous, the difficulties facing the education sector in light of the continued aggression led by Saudi regime, which targeted the infrastructure of education.

In the meeting, attended by Minister of Education Yahya Badr al-Din al-Houthi, the Shura’s Speaker praised the efforts exerted by the leadership and cadres of the Ministry of Education under the exceptional circumstances experienced by the country.

For his part, the Education Minister reviewed the efforts exerted by the ministry in order to improve the educational process.

Al-Houthi referred that the Saudi-led aggression coalition has destroyed nearly 3,500 schools entirely or partly in all provinces, urging parents to interact with the Back to School campaign.

It was agreed at the meeting on the formation of a joint committee to prepare a report on the difficulties and challenges faced by the ministry, accompanied by suggestions and recommendations to develop the educational process.
