UAE commander comes under fire in Aden

ADEN, Sept. 15 (YPA) – A commander of the United Arab Emirates’ occupation forces in Yemen’ southern city of Aden on Sunday came under fire, according to sources.

Commander Rashed a-Khalafi was targeted during his visit to a battalion in the coastal defense.

The sources confirmed fierce clashes broke out between the battalion’s militants while the visit.

The incident came two days after the UAE announced six of its soldiers were killed in the southern provinces.
