Saudi warns UAE to stay away from threat to its “national security in Yemen

SANAA, Aug. 27 (YPA) – A Saudi political writer and analyst warned the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Sunday to stay away from all concerns in Yemen.

Saudi politician Suleiman al-Oqeliy, who is a close to the Saudi royal palace, said on Twitter: “We recommend that our dear brothers in Abu Dhabi to stay away from all that worries their older sister Saudi Arabia, especially in Yemeni space, which represents the Saudi national security.”

“If they are unable to control the movement of their local allies (in reference to STC), leaving the field represents the best service to Saudi-UAE relations,” he added, referring to the UAE’s exemption from its participation in the coalition.

The exiled Hadi’s government has accused the UAE of supporting the rebellion against it in the occupied southern provinces, claiming that was its role in the aggression against Yemen.
