Fierce clashes between coalition mercenaries in Taiz

TAIZ, April 25 (YPA) – Six girls were killed and injured when fierce clashes erupted on Thursday in Yemen’s Taiz city between Saudi-UAE coalition-backed mercenaries, sources said.

The clashes broke out between Abu al-Abbas group, an al-Qaeda affiliated group backed by the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Islah Muslim Brotherhood mercenaries backed by Saudi Arabia in the areas of the old city of Taiz.

Explosions and clashes using light and heavy weapons are erupting in the old city of Taiz, according to the residents.

Last two week, the clashes broke out between the coalition-backed factions in an attempt to control the city.
