Mohammed Ali al-Houthi: UN’s letter to Sanaa sets ceasefire date in Hodeidah

SANAA, Dec, 16 (YPA) – The head of the Supreme Revolutionary Committee, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi has said on Saturday that Martin Griffiths, Special Envoy of the Secretary-General for Yemen had handed over a letter to the national delegation containing the date of the cease-fire,

“We hope that the US-Saudi-UAE coalition and its allies in Yemen will commit to the date of the cease-fire in the field, and to be beginning of the ending the aggression,” Mohammed Ali al-Houthi wrote on his Twitter account on Saturday.

The peace consultations between the Yemeni warning parties, hosted by Sweden was set to an end last Thursday with the agreement to exchange 14,000 prisoners from both sides and agreed to a ceasefire in the city of Hodeidah.
