Report: Child, civilian killed in Saudi-led attacks over 24 hours
SANAA, Dec 16 (YPA) – A child and a civilian were killed and another injured when the US-backed Saudi-led coalition launched airstrikes, cluster bombs and ground attacks on several areas of Yemen’s provinces during the past 24 hours, according to reports combined by Yemen Press Agency on Sunday.
- In Raymah province:
A child was killed and dozens of sheep killed in three airstrikes on Kulaba valley in Blad-Taam district.
- In Hodeidah province:
A civilian was killed in a cluster bomb earlier dropped by coalition warplane in Tuhaita district.
Two airstrikes hit north-east of Hais district.
An airstrike was waged on Faza area.
Meanwhile, more than 100 artillery shells were fired at residential areas toward Etihad hotel and nearby areas of 7 July area of Hali districr, Faza area, Shaab city, and Zafran village of Kilo -16 area.
Coalition dropped lighting bombs on the west of Husainia district.
- In Saada province:
A civilian was injured and dozens of sheep killed in coalition’s missile attacks at villages in Razih district.
Missile and artillery shells targeted villages in Monabeh district.
Meanwhile, three airstrikes and apache helicopters targeted homes and farms in Baqem district.
Two airstrikes hit Qahrt-Nas area of Sehar district.
An airstrike targeted Sheda district.
An airstrike was waged on Aal-Ali area of Razih border district.
- In Mahweet province:
An airstrike was waged on a farm in Khabt district.
