YRCS launches aid distribution to Hodeidah displaced in Hajjah

HAJJAH, July 7 (YPA) – The Yemen Red Crescent Society (YRCS) branch in Hajjah province launched on Saturday an aid distribution of food and shelter for 220 displaced families from Hodeidah province.
In the inauguration, the Director of the National Authority for Disaster Management and Coordination, Alan Fadhae’l, and the Director of Planning and International Cooperation Office, Abdulrahman Al-Malhani, praised the contribution of the Yemeni Red Crescent Society branch to alleviate the suffering of the displaced persons, caused by the Saudi-led coalition aggression.
The officials called on humanitarian organizations to provide urgent aid to displaced families and to support official efforts in this regard.
The officials also stressed on the keenness of the province leadership, represented by Governor, Hilal al-Sufi, to provide facilities for humanitarian organizations and work to provide the needs of the displaced, whether from the people of the province or neighboring provinces.
