3 contraband food shipments seized in Bayda

BAYDA, July 19 (YPA) – Security forces on Thursday seized three smuggled food shipments on board three trucks in Bayda province, in central Yemen, a security official told Yemen Press Agency.

The first shipment contained 500 gallons of cooking oil and 1,000 cartons of sauce, and the second contained a quantity of milk and nuts, while the third one contained a large amount of legumes, canned fish and juices, the official elaborated.

He confirmed that the three shipments were seized separately, adding that all seizures were referred to the competent authorities.
