Saudi-led coalition escalates towards Hodeidah Airport

HODEIDAH, Feb. 23 (YPA) -A military source in the Fifth Military Region on Saturday has said that Saudi-led coalition forces and its militants have carried out a dangerous escalation of violence towards Hodeidah International Airport.

The source told Yemen Press Agency (YPA) that this escalation comes after the coalition and their militants were unveiled in front of the international community and the United Nations in their refusal to implement the first phase of the redeployment agreed upon in Sweden.

The military source also warned the coalition’s forces and their militants of the consequences they will suffer, stressing that the Yemeni army and Tihama tribes are ready to defend Hodeidah.
