Zionist enemy wages campaign of raids, arrests in West Bank

SANAA, Feb. 20 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday launched a campaign of raid and arrest in wide areas of the occupied West Bank.

According to Palestine today agency, local sources said the Israeli occupation forces arrested Mohammed Nusouh Ashtayeh from Salem village east of Nablus and caused the destruction in his house. He was also a prisoner and his brother Abdel Rahman is still in detention.

Furthermore, the occupation forces stormed the West Bank village of Mazra’a, northwest of Ramallah, raiding several houses and withdrawing without any arrests.

In Bethlehem, Mohammed Jamil Abu Sarhan and Fadi Halawa were arrested during the storming of the city of Doha.

Hatem Ahmad Sabarneh, from Beit Ummar, was arrested at the Container checkpoint north-east of Bethlehem.

Detained prisoner Uday Wafa Mezher was also arrested from his home in Qalandia refugee camp north of Jerusalem.

The Israeli occupation army also seized equipment from a metal workshop in Dhahra Ekbarieh area in the Shuweika suburb north of Tulkarem.

In the governorate of Hebron, Anas Jamil Jawabreh, Nidan Nawaf Sharif, Nadim Mahib Jubabra, the freed prisoner Hisham Jabr al-Titi, Shababin Khalid Abu Salem and Mohammed Hassan Zakut were arrested from their homes in al-‘Arroub camp to the north.

The occupation forces stormed the house of journalist Hassouna Zakout in Al-‘Arroub refugee camp and called him with his son in Etzion on Thursday.

In addition, the Israeli occupation forces confiscated a sum of money from a house belonging to the Misk family in al-Salam Street in Hebron.
