Israeli Occupation approves construction of 4,000 new settlement units in Jerusalem

SANAA, Feb. 20 (YPA) – The so-called “Planning and Building Committee” of the Jerusalem Municipality approved the construction of more than 4,000 settlement units throughout the occupied city of Jerusalem, According to Palestine today agency.

The Hebrew newspaper of Israel Today reported that the construction of 4,416 settlement units in the city was approved, in addition to allocating 23,576 square meters for business purposes and 4,253 for trade purposes.

The approval includes the construction of 464 settlement units in the Gilo neighborhood, 180 units in Kiryat Yovel and 375 units in Kiryat Menahem.
