Citizen killed, others injured in gas station explosion in Shabwa

SHABWA, June 09 (YPA) – A citizen was killed and several others were injured in a gas station explosion in the Markha district of Shabwa province, controlled by the UAE-backed factions in southeastern Yemen.

Media outlets reported on Monday that the ‘Al-Amoudi’ gas station in the Al-Daima area of ​​Markha district exploded, killing Hussein Mubarak Al-Amoudi and injuring three others.

The media explained that the explosion occurred during the unloading of a fuel shipment from a locomotive tanker into the station’s tanks, causing a massive fire amid the absence of safety measures and fire trucks.
