11 Yemeni civilians killed, injured in Saudi-led coalition airstrikes
SANAA, Jan. 18 (YPA) – Four Yemeni civilians were killed and seven others wounded in Saudi-led coalition airstrikes on Wednesday that targeted various areas and residents’ properties in several Yemeni governorates.

According to a military official, the Saudi-led coalition launched Wednesday more than twenty air raids on different areas in Nehm district, east of the capital Sanaa, Taiz, Al Jawf and Sa’adah governorates. The air attacks coincided with Saudi heavy rocket and artillery shelling on Yemen’s bordering areas.
In Taiz governorate, two air raids hit Nujaiba popular market in Mawza’a district, killing and wounding dozens. In Mocka district, west of Taiz, four people were killed and other citizens injured when two air strikes targeted a pickup truck in al- Azayud area.
The Saudi coalition warplanes targeted Nehm district of Sana’a governorate with three air strikes, while two air raids targeted a truck carrying food for the displaced civilians in Rajawza area in Al Jawf, injuring two citizens and burning the truck.
Sa’ada governorate was targeted by a series of air raids, including eight raids on the area of al- Buqa near Saudi border.
Also in Sa’ada The coalition fighter jets launched air raids on the area of Aal Kurads area. Citizens were wounded in the air raids on a farm in Al-Ramah Area of Baqem district, which borders Saudi Arabia.
Local source in Sa’ada governorate told Yemeni Press Agency that the coalition aircrafts launched air raid on Aal-Sheikh district of Minabeh district. It also waged air strike on Sha’aban Barazh Area, causing damage to the property of citizens.
Meanwhile, the Saudi forces continued firing rockets and artillery on Yemeni border areas of Sa’ada, targeting residential neighborhoods in Al-Sheikh and Al-Dushah areas of Minabah and other parts of Razih and Al-Ghour district of Ghamr bordering district.
