Sanaa air defense confront Saudi warplanes

SANAA, Sept. 15 (YPA) – The Yemeni Armed Forces (Sanaa forces) successfully confronted two Saudi combat formations over Saada province.

“A short while ago, the Yemeni Armed Forces successfully confronted two Saudi combat formations—comprising Typhoon and F-15 aircraft—that had taken off from the Saudi’s airbases in Khamis Mushait and Taif,” Spokesman for Sanaa’s Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Sarie wrote on X.

 

 They were engaged using locally manufactured air defense missiles and, by the grace of God, were forced to retreat and turn back, General Sarie added.
