Army kills, wounds dozens of Saudi forces in Yemen’s Midi

HAJJAH, Jan. 18 (YPA) – The Yemeni army forces have destroyed seven military vehicles belonging to the Saudi-led coalition, killing dozens and injuring others when the Yemeni army foiled the coalition’s offensive  in Midi Desert amid intensive air raids by the Saudi war coalition on Yemen on Thursday noon.

HAJJAH, Jan. 18 (YPA) – The Yemeni army forces have destroyed seven military vehicles belonging to the Saudi-led coalition, killing dozens and injuring others when the Yemeni army foiled the coalition’s offensive  in Midi Desert amid intensive air raids by the Saudi war coalition on Yemen on Thursday noon.

A military source at the Yemeni Military Media told Yemen Press Agency (YPA) that tens of the coalition’s militants were killed in the port city of Midi on the Red Sea.

The operation took place when the Yemeni army backed  by the popular fighters foiled the coalition’s attack on AL Mazara’a and al-Makhzen areas.

The source pointed out that the army forces destroyed five military pickup trucks and damaged two vehicles, as well as burned a coalition militants’ arms store.

The source said the coalition’s offensive lasted more than 5 hours, coincided with the more than 14 air strikes.
