MSF reveals falsity of coalition investigators’ report
SANAA, Feb. 7 (YPA) – Médecins Sans Frontières International (MSF) rejected the report of the so-called “Accident Assessment Team in Yemen” of the coalition on the exposure of one of the headquarters of the organization’s bombing in Yemen, describing it as “contains many of the claims which are unacceptable and contradictory.”
The organization said in a statement that the press conference of the investigation team of the coalition includes many of the unacceptable and contradictory claims that portray the organization as the party responsible for the bombing and not the victim.
MSF’s statement said the Saudi report are seeking to hold the victim responsible for the attack, claiming that the organization did not take appropriate measures to prevent the bombing and did not put a distinctive slogan on the surface of the cholera treatment center.”
While MSF confirmed that “the compound that included the center was put three distinctive slogans.”
“The report of the team confirmed that the coalition was partially responsible for the bombing, but did not hold the coalition responsible for another attack which is added to a series of multiple attacks on humanitarian and medical work in Yemen,” the statement said.
The so-called “Accident Assessment Team in Yemen” appointed by the leadership of the Saudi-Saudi war coalition has repeatedly denied the bombing of coalition aircraft and civilian facilities in Yemen and killed thousands of innocent civilians.
