Over 2,000 Yemeni children killed yearly due to Saudi-led war on Yemen: UNICEF

SANAA, Jan. 6 (YPA) – Every single year over 2,000 Yemeni children have been killed in the conflict or have been injured for life, since the beginning of Saudi-led brutal war on Yemen in 2015.

“Support provided by UNICEF and other humanitarian organizations is literally saving people  and giving children a glimmer of hope, Geert Cappelaere, UNICEF Regional Director for the Middle East and North Africa said in a statement.

The statement added that the war has left more than 11 million children and 80 percent of the others need to the humanitarian assistance.
