Damascus will receive second Arab presidents in coming days

SANAA, Dec. 19 (YPA) – Iraqi President Barham Salih will travel to the Syrian capital Damascus in an official visit, an Iraqi diplomatic source told Russian news agency Sputnik on Tuesday.

The Iraqi diplomatic source said: “The Iraqi president will pay an official visit to Syria in the coming days.”

“That is all that can be revealed now,” he added.

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad on Sunday (December 16th) received his Sudanese counterpart Omar al-Bashir at Damascus International Airport in a surprise visit announced after Bashir’s return to Khartoum.
