FM sends condolences to Somali counterpart on victims of terrorist bombings

SANAA, Nov. 11 (YPA) – Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf sent on Sunday a cable of condolences to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Ahmed Issa Awad, on the victims of the terrorist bombings that targeted the center of the Somali capital Mogadishu and claimed the lives of many civilians.
Sharaf pointed out in the cable that the targeting of civilians and places of gathering violates all laws and humanitarian norms and values.
He expressed the condolences of National Salvation Government and the people of Yemen to the Government and people of the Federal Republic of Somalia and the families of the victims.
Sharaf stressed that terrorism is unacceptable in all its forms and one of the most serious threats to international peace and security, pointing out to the importance of bringing perpetrators, organizers, financiers and supporters of these terrorist acts to justice.
