ADEN, Oct. 31 (YPA) – The militias of exiled president Hadi on Tuesday closed more than 60 money exchangers in Aden province.
According to private sources, Hadi’s militias launched raids, arrested exchange workers and closed more than 60 cashiers on the pretext that they do not have official permits.
The sources confirmed that the campaign was met with strong reactions as well as the owners of exchangers stressed that the government and the alliance manipulate the currency and the arguments of licenses are baseless pretexts.
In the same context, the raid campaign justified this by receiving directives from the government, specifically from the banking supervision sector in the Central Bank of Yemen, together with the Public Funds Prosecution in Aden.
