Salvation Government spokesman condemns continuation of coalition in committing crimes against civilians
SANAA, Oct. 14 (YPA) – The official spokesman of National Salvation Government, Abdel Salam Ali Jaber, condemned the continuation of the coalition in committing crimes against civilians in Yemen, the latest of which was the air raids on residential neighborhoods, health facilities, farms, water tanks and roads in the departments of Tuhaita, Duraihimi and Kamran Island in Hodeidah province.
“These ongoing air raids since yesterday resulted in the destruction of Duraihimi General Hospital and the Maternity and Childhood Hospital, which are crowded with patients, pregnant women, newborns and health personnel, in addition to the destruction of a number of houses, killing and wounding dozens of civilians, including women and children in Dutaihimi and Tuhaita,” the spokesman told the official Yemen news agency, Saba.
Jaber added that the coalition of aggression prevented cars and ambulance teams from rescuing the victims, where it targeted an ambulance in front of the General Hospital in Duraihimi and launched a series of raids and shelling of the battleships on the roads to prevent the movements of rescue teams.
“The deliberate raids on health facilities and ambulances and the targeting of citizens by the US-backed Saudi-led aggression against the citizens of Yemen are a war crimes within the complicity of the international community led by the United Nations, which did not even bother to condemn these major crimes, which are incompatible with all International and humanitarian conventions, ” Jaber said.
The spokesman stressed that the mass killing of the Yemeni people is a condemnation of all international organizations and bodies dealing with the blood of children and women in Yemen with coldness and recklessness, which reflects arrogance state of the innocent lives killed by coalition’s warplanes since four years ago.
