CENTCOM prepares plans to resume strikes on Iran

OCCUPIED AL-QUDS, Nov. 04 (YPA) – Channel 15 reported, citing The New York Times, that the US Central Command (CENTCOM) has prepared military plans to resume strikes on Iran, awaiting a final decision from the White House amid escalating tensions between Washington and Tehran.

According to the reports, the US and Israeli plans include a short, intensive military operation targeting nuclear facilities, missile and drone sites, as well as facilities related to the Iranian energy and oil sector.

The information indicated that Washington and Tel Aviv have intensified training and operational preparations in anticipation of a resumption of the confrontation, including air exercises simulating attacks inside Iranian territory.

According to US and Israeli sources, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu is pushing for a resumption of strikes, while the final decision regarding US participation remains with President Donald Trump.

In this context, the Associated Press quoted diplomats as saying that US officials have urged countries in the Middle East to prepare for the possibility of renewed strikes after the elections and to anticipate an Iranian response that could target energy facilities and vital infrastructure in the region.
