Palestinian woman dies of injuries from Israeli fire in Gaza’s Khan Yunis

GAZA, Sept. 24 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday evening killed a Palestinian woman to the west of Khan Yunis in the southern genocide-stricken Gaza Strip, the Palestinian news agency reported.

According to the agency, Nasser Medical Complex said the woman succumbed to her wounds after being shot by occupation soldiers.

Israeli occupation army has waged a military onslaught on the Strip since 7 October 2023, killing 73,922 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injuring 174,995 others. It has destroyed 90% of the Strip’s infrastructure, with the cost of Gaza reconstruction estimated at $70 billion.

Since the Gaza ceasefire agreement went into effect on October 11, 2025, Israel has killed 1,402 Palestinians and injured 4,881 others. The bodies of 834 slain Palestinians have been recovered during the same period.
