Sanaa responds to Al-Arada’s escalation, as Ansarallah accuses him of serving external interests

SANAA, Sept. 13 (YPA) – Hussein Al-Ezzi, a member of the political bureau of the Ansarallah movement, commented on recent statements made by Sultan Al-Arada, the governor of Marib in the Saudi-backed government, in which Al-Arada threatened to escalate against Sanaa in the coming days.

Writing on the X platform, Al-Ezzi stated that Al-Arada’s remarks represent a “clear service to external aggressors,” adding that it was hoped he would demonstrate wisdom to prevent bloodshed.

Emphasizing Sanaa’s position, Al-Ezzi said, “We will not threaten nor escalate… we will only respond.”

In a subsequent post responding to the publication of Al-Arada’s statements by the “Saudi News” platform, Al-Ezzi stressed that such stances confirm the opposing side is acting as an “aggressor,” while Sanaa operates from a “position of defense.”
