BEIRUT, Aug. 20 (YPA) – Israeli occupation aircraft launched a series of airstrikes, detonations, and controlled demolitions across several villages in southern Lebanon at dawn on Thursday.
Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA) reported that Israeli occupation warplanes struck the Ali al-Taher height and the outskirts of al-Dabsha on the northern edge of Nabatieh al-Fawqa, as well as the Douhat Kfar Rumman area in the south.
The agency noted that these regions were also subjected to intermittent Israeli artillery shelling leading up to the early morning hours.
Furthermore, the NNA stated that Israeli forces carried out overnight and dawn detonations in Majdal Zoun and al-Mansouri, coinciding with artillery bombardment targeting both towns.
Meanwhile, Lebanese media outlets reported that the Israeli military demolished several residential homes in the southern border town of Haddatha.
